HOW THIS WORKS

If you're seeking an internship: we review your resume and your suitability for an internship with a VFC employer. You may receive access to our exclusive job board right away, or we might ask you to make some updates to your resume first. You are not guaranteed a job offer from our board. 

If you have a pending job offer: we review your application and invite you to a short webinar to confirm you're eligible to receive our funding, and that you're the right candidate for an internship with a VFC employer. You are not guaranteed acceptance just because you have an offer.

THE TIPS & TRICKS

  1. Review your answers at least once. This application should take less than 20 minutes, so there's no need to rush.
  2. Please apply with a personal email. School email servers often block emails from us and from employers who wish to hire you.
  3. It's absolutely possible to complete this application using your phone, however: we will ask you to upload a resume, which you likely don't have saved there.
  4. Your "suitability" is about what you're passionate about, what your goals are, and what you think you're great at. Be honest, and help us get to know you.

The personal information collected by Venture for Canada will be used in candidate selection, hiring, and support, and is collected in accordance with The Privacy Act. Our use of information will include sharing details of your application with third parties, as mandated by our funder the Government of Canada.
